At the moment, among the known information on Tekken 8 , there are no details on what could be the launch date of the awaited new chapter in the fighting game series.
However, it seems that the work is already well advanced, with Bandai Namco looking with confidence at the possibility of making the game available within the next twelve months. In presenting the company's latest financial results to its shareholders, the management briefly discussed the objectives related to the next videogame year.
In the summary document of the meeting, it is possible to read the following: " Tekken 8 is also in development, with the aim of a publication that can take place during 2023 or later ".
The declaration leaves the door open to a certain flexibility towards the debut of the fighting game, but, in fact, it is not excluded that Tekken 8 could hit the market as early as next year. During the autumn, fans were able to take a first look at the title in action, thanks to the publication of a rich trailer of Tekken 8 on the occasion of the last PlayStation State of Play of the year.
Developed in Unreal Engine 5 , the awaited Tekken 8 will find space on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC : to find out more, all that remains is to wait for news from Bandai Namco.
