Alan Wake 2 has been around for a year (and a month) not too long now but it's still going strong, thanks to the arrival of DLC and also the fact that the game still needs several updates to stay in top form.
Speaking of updates, Remedy Entertainment has released a patch that fixes an issue with one of the firearms in the video game. It seems the issue was caused by a previous update, released on November 26.
The problem was specifically related to the shotgun , which simply disappeared and could not be used. Since it is a powerful weapon and therefore used, fans immediately noticed the problem. Initially, methods were found to circumvent the problem, but obviously Remedy Entertainment took action to resolve everything.
The update is available on PC (version 1.2.6), Xbox Series X | S (number 1.2.0.6), and PlayStation 5 (categorized as 1,200,006). The list of fixes is the same for each platform. Simply put, the issue with the weapon disappearing has been fixed, and if you load a save where the weapon had already disappeared, it will simply reappear. So there is no need to worry: this is not a bug that will ruin your save.
Finally, it is indicated that this Alan Wake 2 update also fixes other small issues , but these are not explicitly mentioned.
