Remedy offers us this week to download patch 1.2.7 of Alan Wake 2. This update fixes several issues on the DLC "The Lake House" on all platforms.
However, the focal point of this new version remains the PS5 Pro. Now, a “Balanced” rendering mode is making its appearance. Compatible with screens that can reach a refresh rate of 120 Hz, it combines the settings of the “Quality” mode, including ray tracing, with the definition of the “Performance” mode, all in 40 FPS.
Note that the ray tracing settings have been adjusted to reduce image noise. The frame rate is also more consistent in "Performance" mode. Finally, PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) can now be enabled or disabled in the game options.
