Control 2

The studio announced that the project's budget would be around 50 million euros. Now new details have emerged , Remedy CEO Tero Virtala said that Control 2 has been budgeted for less than Alan Wake 2. The exact amounts are not disclosed, but he noted that the budget for the second part of Alan Wake was slightly higher.

According to Virtala, games of this level can break even with just two million copies sold. And if Control 2 sells four or five million copies, the studio will consider that an excellent result.

By comparison, in February, Remedy announced that Alan Wake 2 had reached the 2 million unit sales milestone and had already covered its development and marketing costs.
