The major content update 2.8 for the action RPG Wuthering Waves has been released globally . It brings a vast story expansion, new characters, and additional quality-of-life improvements.
The main new feature is Chronorift Metropolis (formerly Honami City), a mysterious metropolis stuck in a time loop due to the Lament Anomaly. Players will continue the main storyline in two new chapters: Stagnant Dawn on Wastelands and Flowing Starlight in the Iris. It's worth noting that the new location is even more beautiful than Septimont, but also even more challenging on hardware.
Wuthering Waves is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and iOS and Android mobile devices worldwide. The game was previously nominated for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2025.
