Capcom officially unveiled the second free update for Monster Hunter Wilds during Spotlight 2025. It will be released on June 30.
Two new monsters will be introduced: Lagiacrus, which can drag players underwater for a specific combat phase, and Seregios, a flying wyvern that causes bleeding.
The update also introduces layered weapons, allowing you to change the appearance of weapons without altering their stats. This feature requires you to have crafted the final weapon in an upgrade tree. It will also be possible to create layered weapons for the Palico.
The seasonal Festival of Accord: Flamefete event will run from July 23 to August 6, featuring new equipment, decorations, and special dishes.
A new monster, Arch-Tempered Uth Duna, will also be offered as an event quest and challenge from July 30 to August 20.
A collaboration with Fender will begin on August 27th. It will feature an event quest running through September 24th with an exclusive gift as a reward.
