Risen

Risen , developed by Piranha Bytes , made its debut in 2009 for PC and Xbox 360 : thirteen years later , news arrives for the title distributed by THQ Nordic . According to reports, a new edition of Risen will arrive for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch starting January 24, 2023 .

The upcoming console version will not have major changes from the original title, it seems that the changes mainly concern the readjusted interface and controls. Set on the island of Faranga , Risen is a fantasy with a medieval flavour, where the gamer will be able to explore different areas and above all through the choices made it will be possible to influence the course of events.

From January with the new editions of Risen we can return to the island of Faranga.

The news of Risen's arrival probably won't be a surprise, in fact in August German Entertainment Software's Self-Regulation Body (USK) would have provided the classification of the video game for the consoles listed above. According to reports earlier this summer, the listed publisher was once again THQ Nordic , the original publisher. It is certainly not a novelty that some titles are classified even before being announced, recently Trek To Yomi was classified by the same German institution for Nintendo Switch : however, currently no official news has arrived regarding the port of the title developed by Flying Wild Hog .

Probably, just like for Risen , the launch of Trek To Yomi on Switch will be communicated in a while, so we can only wait for news from the developers themselves or from the publisher.
