To demonstrate the latter, yesterday the number of figures sold during all these years was revealed and it is something brutal.
Overwhelming sales
Canadian journalist Geoff Keighley, producer of The Game Awards, shared through his Twitter account that the adventure of Michael, Trevor and Franklin has exceeded 140 million units sold .
Despite being over seven years old at the moment, 2020 was GTA V's best year since its launch. Take Two said more copies of Grand Theft Auto V were sold last year than in any other year since 2013 . Recurring consumer spending (Take Two's terminology for microtransactions) for Grand Theft Auto Online grew 28% year-over-year, beating the company's forecast for the third quarter.
