SEGA reported strong sales of DLC for Persona 3 Reload during its financial report for the 2025 fiscal year ending March 31. This was announced at the company's fiscal year-end briefing on May 12, 2025.
The main contributor to DLC sales, of course, was the Expansion Pass, which includes the Episode Aigis epilogue, as well as costume and background music sets. SEGA has publicly commented on Persona 3 Reload's post-release numbers for the first time, noting "quite high" demand for additional content for the remake
Episode Aigis, a remake of the epilogue from Persona 3 FES, has caused controversy among fans due to its distribution method, which requires players to purchase the entire Expansion Pass to access Aigis' story. However, DLC sales, particularly in the third quarter (October-December 2024), have been "impressive." SEGA has expressed confidence in the continued monetization potential of DLC for Atlus games, which could impact content strategy for future titles, including a proposed Persona 4 remake.
