Arc System Works has released the official gameplay trailer for Yunika, the third DLC character in the fourth season of Guilty Gear -Strive- .
Yunika's arrival also includes two additional battle stages, New Dawn, A Future Unfolding, and In the Name of Peace. The latest patch notes detail the full scope of the accompanying update. Yunika's theme song, "CARPE DIEM," is also available to listen to.
Voiced by Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa Ackerman from Shingeki no Kyojin, 2B from NieR: Automata), Yunika's story arc spans both the anime and the game, creating a unified narrative thread across media. Yunika will appear in the game on May 27, 2025, with Season 4.
In the Dual Rulers anime, Yunica is driven by a chaotic goal to destroy all Gears. As a result, she makes a direct attempt on the lives of series veterans Ki Kisuke and Dizzy, which naturally makes her the main enemy of their son, Shin Kisuke.
