Launched in November 2017, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is experiencing a real resurgence in popularity this May 2025. In fact, the DICE game has surpassed its number of concurrent players on Steam.
The new record set reached 18,635 concurrent users. On April 21, this installment had a maximum of 1,575 concurrent players. Star Wars Battlefront 2 currently ranks 32nd among the best-selling titles on Steam.
It's hard to know what's driving this renewed interest, given that the game isn't even on sale on Valve's store.
