Halo Studios (formerly 343 Industries) has introduced a new competitive mode for Halo Infinite called Seek and Deploy (S&D) Extraction.
In this mode, two teams of four players compete against each other. One team tries to install a special device, while the other tries to stop it.
Features of the mode:
- The game goes up to six winning rounds.
- After each attempt, the teams switch roles.
- No respawns: Dead players can only spectate until the next round.
- Before each round, you are given a limited budget for weapons, grenades and equipment.
- Prices for items are gradually rising.
- All purchased items are lost after the round ends.
This format promises to add extra strategic depth and tension to the game, making each round feel especially important due to the lack of respawns and variable equipment prices.
