Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on consoles and PC later this week . But while we wait for its launch on February 28, Capcom's title has been playing around with the specialized press.
So, Monster Hunter Wilds clearly did not disappoint since it collected a Metacritic average of 89% on PS5 (50 reviews), 88% on PC (18 reviews) and 83% on Xbox Series (6 reviews). The OpenCritic site currently displays a score of 89% with 83 reviews on the counter.
On the positive side, we can highlight a world as lively as it is vast, impressive creatures, an interesting story, pleasant exploration or even a convincing artistic direction. The "Focus" mode is also a success, as is the audio aspect of the game and its gargantuan lifespan.
As for the pitfalls, we will note graphics that are not always up to par (with dated textures), a somewhat confusing tutorial or even the lack of variety in the bestiary.
