The patch is quite extensive and comes to correct and solve different problems that the game Avowed was dragging, in order to balance everything as much as possible both on Xbox and PC.

Major issues and faults
- Adjusted settings so that non-killable characters respawn in case of unexpected death, avoiding crashes in quest progress.
Missions and area design
- Fixed an issue where loot stacks would appear in unexpected places when created remotely.
- Conversations with Living Lands leaders will no longer abruptly end.
- Bounty Masters in Dawnshore, Shatterscarp, and Galawain's Tusks now allow correct trophies to be dropped.
- Vemas now accepts the delivery of “Blood Debt” even if the player has already spoken to him before.
- Fixed an issue where players would be left with no active objectives during “A Premature End.”
- Fixed an issue where you could get stuck in the environment near Dehengen's hut.
- Enemy loot will no longer disappear if the player killed Ygwulf and the assassins in the Cistern, saved, and reloaded the game.
- The Hylgard Ambassador will no longer drown in The Strangleroot, which prevented him from appearing in the Paradis Embassy.
- Fixed issues where Ancient Ground could not be completed if Fior mes Iverno became inaccessible.
Improvements to systems and gameplay
- Unholy Chests and Sarcophagi now contain currency in their loot lists.
- Upgrade materials (metal, wood, leather) are now more frequently available in shops in each region.
- Upgrade materials are now correctly updated when the store stock is refreshed.
- The auto-save frequency has been set to 5-10 minutes by default (can be changed in settings).
- Autosave slots increased from 3 to 5.
- “Bleeding Cuts” now applies bleeding stacks more reliably.
- Signing into Xbox Network on Steam will no longer reset your language settings.
- Reduced the chance of Kai teleporting inside a wall when using Daring Leap.
- Companions now engage in combat more effectively.
Visual and artistic solutions
- The Militia Guard in Claviger's Landing now has the correct neck texture.
- Adjusted the position of the Rotting Skeleton Mage's health bar.
- Fixed player's hair and armor shaking under poison effect.
- Reduced opacity on a water source inside Ondra Temple.
User Interface (UI) and Controls
- Companion skills bound to the quickspace menu will no longer reset when reloading the game.
- Added options to adjust gamepad acceleration strength and timing.
- Fixed typos in the Encumbrance tutorial and Compiling Shaders screen.
Miscellaneous
- Disabled Avowed from launching on DirectX 11 as the game does not support it.
- Some players were using DirectX 11 as a workaround for bugs and performance issues, but this introduced additional issues that we are unable to fix.
