Having just arrived on consoles and PC, Monster Hunter Wilds is already breaking records! Indeed, the first figures coming from SteamDB are absolutely crazy.
So, at the time of writing (and this will probably change quickly), the title has reached a peak of 987,482 concurrent players on Steam alone. In its entire history, Monster Hunter World had "only" reached 334,684 users at the same time.
Needless to say, Monster Hunter Wilds is the most played game on Steam right now, ahead of Counter-Strike 2 , PUBG , Dota 2 and Marvel Rivals . We can also imagine that taking into account all platforms, Capcom's title has already sold several million copies.
