Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo has officially announced the Nintendo Switch 2. The console will go on sale sometime during 2025, with a full presentation of the device taking place on April 2 as part of a special Nintendo Direct.

The console will support cartridges from the first Switch without any modifications, and the first shots show that the device has grown in size relative to the original.

We haven't received any information about the price or specifications from Nintendo, but insiders claim that the NVIDIA Tegra 239 processor with 2048 Ampere-generation CUDA cores (RTX30) is installed inside. As for the performance, we are told about 1.7 TFLOPS in portable mode and 3.1 TFLOPS in stationary mode. The expected price tag is $400, but again, all this is insider information without official confirmation.
