Tom Henderson has published a new article on Insider Gaming , where he suggested that Activision may have an event dedicated to Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 planned this week , with the aim of celebrating the launch of the new free to play chapter . .
The insider then revealed that he had discovered that some sources, obviously remained anonymous to avoid legal repercussions, have recently received an invitation to an in-person event scheduled this week. It seems that Activision is organizing an event dedicated to Call of Duty: Warzone 2
That said, according to Henderson the DMZ , known as the Deployment Zone , will take place on the Call of Duty: Warzone 2 map , Al Mazrah . And for those unfamiliar with it, this mode is basically CoD 's version of the extraction mode like Escape From Tarkov , with official details having been pretty scarce during its announcement during the COD NEXT event .
Waiting to see if Activision Blizzard really intends to organize an event dedicated to the official launch of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 , Tom Henderson said that the game could introduce big changes to the formula of the first chapter, with the DMZ mode that could represent only the spearhead as regards the innovations included in this new free to play chapter.
