Final Fantasy VII Remake brought many changes with its arrival. In addition to completely changed graphics, this Final Fantasy game included changes to the story of the original game, which surprised both loyal fans of the franchise and other more casual ones. However, these changes were quite well received, and it seems that the company is excited to do the same with Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2.
During a recent CEDEC conference, producer Yoshinori Kitase and game co-director Naoki Hamaguchi said: “ We want to create a game that lives up to expectations , but also discards them, albeit in good sense".
The second part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake is already in production, although we do not yet know at what point. However, we already know that we should not expect a faithful copy of the original , but a version somewhat (or drastically) different from the original.
FF7R Producer Kitase and Co-Director Hamaguchi talked a bit about Part 2 during the CEDEC conference! Here's the excerpt's translation.
