HoYoverse has announced the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero's 2.4 update, titled "On the Edge of the Abyss," which will be available on November 26th.
The events of the new update unfold in an old mining site following the crisis on the Hill of Time. As the Miasma begins to recede from the depths of the Lemnian Void, agents Dialin and Banyue from the Krampus Enforcement Agency—an organization subordinate to TOPS and responsible for disciplinary oversight—arrive in the game. Their arrival brings not only new allies but also potentially new agendas of justice.
With Krampus's support, the proxies successfully averted a catastrophe beneath the Hill of Time and glimpsed the deeper mysteries awaiting them in the Idhari dreamscape. Fleeting visions revealed the figures of Sarah and Ye Shiyuan together—an unexpected sight, given that the senior member of the Yongkui Summit is not believed to be involved in the conspiracy of the Exaltists and their Creator. Meanwhile, his younger sister, Ye Shunguang, the new wielder of the Qingming Sword, joins the proxies on their journey to uncover the truth. As the Miasma recedes, an old mining site buried ten years ago resurfaces, hinting at new dangers.
