Bandai Namco has announced that a new character will be coming to Tekken 8. The character will be available to Character Pass owners on July 7, with the full release set for July 10.
The unique feature of the character is his appearance. Particular attention is drawn to the tattoo on the fighter's back, created by a Thai monk. The image has a sacred meaning, and the monk himself, according to the developers, prayed for the success of Tekken 8.
Fakumram's fighting style is based on Thai boxing. The character's motion capture was done in collaboration with a professional Muay Thai master, which allowed for the most accurate rendering of the martial art's features.
Let's remember that Tekken 8 was released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series in 2024, continuing the tradition of one of the most popular fighting game series.
