The Last of Us Part 2

Nixxes Studio has released update 1.3 for the PC version of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered and shared a full list of changes. The new patch fixes a number of visual bugs and stability issues.

One of the key fixes concerns the blood splash effect, which previously disappeared briefly when moving the camera quickly or dodging. Additionally, dynamic blood droplets will now appear on body parts when a shot or melee hit lands. This is an important fix, as many players complained about its absence, and some even used this flaw as evidence of the PS5 Pro version's superiority over the PC version.

The developers also improved the game's stability by fixing a crash that could occur when performing a quick turn after completing an interaction. Players will no longer fall out of the playable area when riding a horse in Seattle.

The patch includes various visual fixes related to animation and lighting in cutscenes for ultrawide monitors. In addition, a bug causing ghosting when using FSR Frame Generation at low resolutions has been fixed, and noise and artifacts when aiming through a rifle scope have been reduced.

The update is only about 382 MB in size. Steam will automatically download the patch the next time you launch the client. You can read all the patch notes here .
