Last night, Bethesda announced that DOOM: The Dark Ages had reached 3 million players. The action game managed to reach this impressive figure in just five days (seven, if you count Early Access), i.e. seven times faster than DOOM Eternal. It is worth noting, however, that the Game Pass subscription played an important role here.
Let us recall that the wide premiere of The Dark Ages on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series took place on May 15. The shooter was received warmly, but with reservations : neither critics nor gamers liked the segments with dragon flights and fights in a giant mech.
