Insider Tom Henderson has announced the approximate release dates for the Claws of Awaji add-on for Assassin's Creed Shadows. According to him, the story DLC will be released in September or October, depending on the progress of development.
Ubisoft would like to have it out in September. The delays of some games that were announced earlier did not affect Shadows, and the team is working with the same goals and deadlines. This applies not only to the expansion, but also to the co-op mode, which is expected in early 2026.
Claws of Awaji will continue the main storyline, and players will find themselves on a separate island. The DLC is designed for more than 10 hours of additional content, and characters will receive new skills, weapons and capabilities. Everything will be told a little later.
Assassin's Creed Shadows is available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
