Civilization 7

 Firaxis Games has announced the release of the second patch for the early access strategy Civilization 7. The update fixes some bugs and interface issues.

The developers announced that in order to speed up the release of patches on PC, they will release them with a time difference compared to the console versions. As a result, the cross-platform play function between PC and consoles is currently temporarily disabled until the console version receives its update. However, cross-play will continue to work between consoles, as well as between PC players.

The most important changes in patch 1.0.1:

  • Fixed an issue where the duration of eras at speeds slower than standard was too short;
  • City-states no longer disappear from the map when eras change, but turn into "friendly independent powers";
  • Naval units will receive mutual damage after attacking other naval units;
  • Fixed an issue where too many food bonuses would cause cities to require negative amounts of food;
  • Added notification about completed espionage actions;
  • Your current religion is now displayed first in the faith selection tabs;
  • Improved spacing between civilization descriptions, unique units, and building icons on the loading screen.
