Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2 is one of the latest hits of 2024. Saber Interactive's new game has captivated everyone and the game's community has been eagerly awaiting each new update. A roadmap that is gradually adding more content to the base game and from which players were waiting for the new operations.
And Saber Interactive's latest update, which has finally arrived, introduces just that. Operation : Obelisk is the newest addition to the game and promises to deliver an intense and challenging experience for players.
Operation: Obelisk is set in Demerium and runs alongside the end of the campaign. Players will be able to experience it solo or in co-op with two other players, adding an additional level of complexity and strategy to the experience. The goal is to traverse a dark tomb to reach the obelisk, but it won’t be easy. The new Majoris enemy, Tzaangor Lightbringer , is ready to challenge players with his ranged and close-quarters combat skills, and ability to fly on a disc.
To defeat this enemy, players will need to take advantage of the moments when it is vulnerable, such as during its attack animations or after parrying. This requires great coordination and strategy, especially in co-op mode, where communication and collaboration are key to success.
In addition to Operation: Obelisk, the latest update also includes the Dark Angels Chapter Pack, which is available to all Season Pass holders. This pack includes the Dark Angels Champion skin for the Baluark, as well as themed cosmetics for the Power Sword, Plasma Pistol, Auto Bolt Rifle, and Storm Shield. These additional items allow players to customize their experience and show their loyalty to the Dark Angels legion.
