STALKER 2 developers have released a major 110GB update 1.1 , fixing over 1800 issues. The patch brings significant improvements to various aspects of the game.
One of the main changes was the refinement of the A-Life 2.0 system. The bug with NPC spawning behind the player was fixed, the visibility distance of non-player characters was increased, and the frequency of encounters with wandering NPCs in the Zone increased significantly.
The problem of aggressive optimization that prevented A-Life from working offline has been solved. NPC movement has been improved thanks to the global AI navigation map. NPCs have become more active in capturing territories and engaging in battles with enemies and mutants. Groups exploring the Zone are now more diverse in size and faction affiliation.
The patch includes over 50 fixes related to vegetation, texture flickering, nav mesh and collisions. The issue with loading saves after unexpectedly closing the STALKER 2 game has been resolved.
Optimized performance in densely populated areas of the map, fixed most of the 200 detected causes of crashes. Fixed visual artifacts in the menu when using DLSS and performance issues on NVIDIA RTX 3000 graphics cards with AMD FSR Frame Generation technology enabled.
The update also includes a host of fixes and improvements to AI, main quests, and side quests.
