D3 Publisher and developer SHADE have announced that combined sales of their third-person action game Samurai Maiden have surpassed 100,000 copies worldwide. The game is available now on PC, Switch, and current and previous-gen PlayStation consoles. Reviews on Steam have been mixed.
The game's plot follows a 21st-century girl with swordsmanship who finds herself in Honnouji during the Sengoku era. Along with a trio of newfound ninja friends, she races through the underworld beneath Honnouji, encountering angry undead and other evil spirits at every turn.
