Frostpunk 2

It's been over two months since the unique, post-apocalyptic building game Frostpunk 2 saw the light of day. But that's not all. The developers have published a roadmap that gives a first glimpse of what you can look forward to up to and including 2026.

11 Bit Studios has not yet revealed much detailed information about the upcoming content. However, the roadmap promises that three DLCs and an extensive free update can be expected by 2026. And a patch has also been announced for this year. You can see the entire overview in order of release here:

New Content 2024

  • Patch 1.2 : After the recent release of Hotfix 1.1.2, you can look forward to Update 1.2 later this year. It will fix numerous bugs, optimize some game mechanics and add new faction events.

New Content 2025

  • Free content update : The new year will start with an extensive and, above all, free content update that is intended to be inspired by player feedback.
  • Console release : Frostpunk 2 is also scheduled to be released for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 next year.
  • Paid DLCs : In 2025 you can look forward to two paid expansions with the code names Spectrum and Aurora . However, no further information is known at the moment.

New Content 2026

  • Paid DLC : There will also be a paid expansion next year, but even less is known about it than about the first two. There isn't even a code name for it yet.
