In the past few hours we have had the opportunity to discover many new details on Metal Gear Solid Delta , the remake of the beloved third chapter of the saga.
A new gameplay trailer was in fact surprisingly revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase, accompanied by some insights arriving directly from Konami on its official website.
According to what was reported by VGC , the social account had in fact announced the opening of pre-orders for the remake, revealing at the same time that the expected release date would be this November 17th. However, after a few moments, the post in question was deleted.
Before you are overcome by understandable enthusiasm, we must unfortunately admit that we have serious doubts about the reveal in question: if the remake was really coming out in 2024, then why not reveal at least the launch year in the latest trailer?
Moreover, a reliable insider had anticipated the imminent reveal of the gameplay trailer, also highlighting that the expected launch window would be in 2025 .
Although it would be an evocative date, November 17, 2024 comes on a Sunday : a decidedly unusual day for a new video game release, which does nothing but raise very strong doubts.
The theory of whoever is writing to you is that it was simply a mistake : whoever was managing the GameStop USA account probably just looked for the release date of Snake Eater , without realizing that that was the date of the original chapter and not the remake.
Obviously, the hypothesis remains that it really was an unexpected leak and that the release of Metal Gear Solid Delta is really closer than expected, which undoubtedly could only make all fans happy.
