The launch of the video game signed by Santa Monica Studios took place only on November 8: the few days that have passed since the debut were enough for users to be able to already find easter eggs dedicated to other beloved series published by Sony , but not only.
A little less than a week after the God of War release, Ragnarok was also a hit on platforms like Twitch and YouTube . Some well-known streamers have decided to play live and therefore only three days later the video game had already been watched live for a total of 11 million hours and, even reaching a peak of 460,000 spectators , as a report indicates .
The dizzying spectators of God of War Ragnarok, however, are not enough to reach those collected by Elden Ring.
Despite the excellent numbers recorded on Twitch , God of War Ragnarok does not come close to the spectators of Elden Ring : the title developed by FromSoftware reached 865,000 spectators in the week of the launch, while months later it also manages to collect a pool of 10,000 users.
The highest numbers were recorded by Cyberpunk 2077 : in the launch period it also counted 1.1 million viewers, but in this case the views did not play in favor of the title developed by CD Projekt Red. Users have not gone unnoticed all the serious defects that the video game suffered from at the time of launch, after all we know well how the situation has evolved subsequently. At the moment, however, the reputation of the studios has definitely improved, the first Phantom Liberty DLC will soon arrive and the latest update has corrected several errors reported by gamers.
