The company itself has commented, through its official website, that the new Resident Evil 8 gameplay will be waiting and will not be available until April, on the occasion of a new Resident Evil Showcase. As already happened with Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, it is likely that Capcom reserves the multiplatform demo also for later, on the eve of the launch of Resident Evil 8. To avoid revealing surprises, Capcom has preferred not to comment on anything else.
However, the company has confirmed the date for the open beta of Resident Evil Re: Verse , the franchise's new multiplayer mode. This new open beta will be on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam from April 7 to 11. If you downloaded the closed beta, you will only have to download the automatic update when the open beta is available and you will have it. Also, if you have just reached the beta, you can pre-download it from April 5. However, for all this you will need to register and have a Capcom ID, as we can read on the official website .

Capcom has also not revealed any news of the Resident Evil projects that are underway. Although we may know details these days. It is likely that, although the new Resident Evil 8 event has been delayed, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, the Resident Evil reboot or even new projects in the franchise will be announced or have more information these days.
