Since God of War 2 , or God of War Ragnarok , was announced , there is an issue that has accompanied the arrival of the new adventures starring Kratos and Atreus, and that is whether the game will finally arrive on PS4 or not.
God of War 2 was announced as an exclusive for PS5 , but after other games that were going to reach only the next generation console such as Spider-Man Miles Morales or Horizon Forbidden West , were also announced for PS4, the million dollar question arrives. with the new Sony Santa Monica game.
In a broadcast of his game to God of War , a user asked the creator of the saga if he thinks the new installment after the reboot will reach PS4 and PS5. To which he answered with certainty that "of course he will" , while remembering that Jim Ryan said that PS4 would continue to be supported for a period of three years so that the generational transition is optimal.

Of course, these statements must be taken as one more opinion . David Jaffe is not currently part of Sony Santa Monica and would not have to know the study plans in this regard. An important opinion because it is the creator of the license, but nothing more.
