In a recent talk on one of Hamster's Arcade Archives streams , Kamiya referenced Bayonetta 3 when asked what PlatinumGames has been up to lately . Here's what he had to say, courtesy of a Nintendo Everything translation:
"We have been working on new things like Bayonetta 3, not that I can say too much ... but I hope we can give an update during the year."
He went on to mention about some other "unannounced projects" with the aim of "bringing some publicity" to the industry, so we assume he is not referring to the already revealed GG Project, another upcoming release, which is part of a trilogy of heroes containing Viewtiful Joe and The Wonderful 101.
"And give updates on some more unannounced projects as well. I'm not sure if I can say that, but I said it anyway. The point is that I am trying to do a lot of things this year… Please keep an eye on us. I hope to bring some publicity to this industry."
The third installment of the witch Bayonetta is a PlatinumGames game that we have to face against all kinds of enemies using melee attacks and also at a distance with the help of firearms. Bayonetta 3 was announced in December 2017 and for now it has no release date. What's more, the developers have not revealed the story of this new installment .
