The GTA saga has us currently used to waiting years and years to enjoy a new installment. The point is that while GTA V was released in 2013 and still, in 2021, we are waiting for GTA VI to be announced, in the PS2 era things were very different. In a span of 3 years we received on our consoles GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas , which are considered as 3 of the best games in history and who laid the foundations of the open world genre.

While at Rockstar they work - supposedly - in GTA VI the rumor has arisen that these three mythical games would return to the front line on the console in the form of a remaster (not a remake). This leak suggests that GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas would arrive remastered. The leak originates from GTA Forums, a place where Rockstar insiders usually leak quite reliable details and is that as reported by GameRant , insiders suggest that in less than 90 days we will see an announcement of Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Remastered.

As if this were not enough, the administrator of said website uploaded an image to Twitter that added fuel to the fire, since in some cards that he describes as made by fans, the years of launch of GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San appear. Andreas next to the one from GTA V, which could indicate a remastering made with the assets of the GTA V engine.

Obviously from all these assumptions to reality there is a long way and days will have to pass to see if this rumor, which today is that, a rumor, ends up being real.
