Initially scheduled for this summer, the first creation of the studio Ape Tribe Games will finally be released in a few weeks to offer an experience mixing action, infiltration and RPG in a cyberpunk world.
With its top view and pixel-art graphics that are reminiscent of a certain Hotline Miami , Disjunction will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch on January 28 after being announced for this summer. A delay surely due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
As a reminder, Disjunction offers both action-infiltration gameplay to allow each player to approach the situation as they wish , either by sneaking through the levels or by rushing through the crowd. In total, three different characters are playable , each with their own unique abilities, cybernetic upgrades, and talents that are customizable.
As for the story, the game plunges you into the heart of 2048 New York where a prominent community leader was arrested, throwing the city into disarray.
Additionally, an insidious drug known as "Shard" is also spreading through the underworld, fueling chaos in the streets.
Faced with this situation, three citizens decide to act in order to uncover the truth and reveal the plot that threatens to upset the fate of the city. With its plot inspired by classics of the genre "Black Tech", the game offers a reactive story where the choices of the players have real consequences , all in a cyberpunk world.
