A new game from the PUBG universe would be released in 2022

PUBG, known as Playerunknown's Battlegrounds , is an online shooter that has won the affection of millions of players, making it a global phenomenon. The funny thing is that from that installment, its creators have thought of developing a universe around that title so that different games share the same rules and world, to the point where they may collide in the future.

The first example of this expanded PUBG universe was The Callisto Protocol , the game from the creator of Dead Space that will take us to terrifying places with strange beasts. Yes, The Callisto Protocol and PUBG share a universe , so anything is possible. In a new interview with Bloomberg , Krafton CEO Kim Chang-han has confirmed that there is another game based on the PUBG universe in the works and that it would also arrive in 2022.

We do not know what type of game it will be and even the genre it will address, but what they are clear from Krafton is that PUBG is a brand that generates millions in revenue and that they must exploit. Of course, if they bring us such attractive results as The Callisto Protocol, everything is welcome. We will see in the coming months if we know more about this new game in the PUBG universe that would arrive on PC and consoles in 2022 .
