You may remember the controversy that arose following the discovery of various assets created with the help of generative AI in The Alters , with 11 bit studios subsequently admitting guilt .
Well, a couple of weeks later, the developers just released a patch that replaces that content with human-made assets . Specifically, the text on one screen in the Command Center has been replaced, while all the movie subtitles translated using the Large Language Model (LLM) have been replaced.
The update also fixes some bugs and rebalances several aspects of the game, based on player feedback. The full changelog can be found here .
