During Summer Games Fest 2025, Capcom unveiled the second official trailer for its new game Onimusha: Way of the Sword .
This new video, titled Formidable Foes Emerge, shows off the different types of enemies that players will encounter, including both monsters and humans.
The trailer focuses on the confrontation between Musashi and his historical rival Sasaki Ganryu. The trailer also shows off several enemies from the Genma clan, including the soul stealers Kubi Akari and Daidara.
Musashi creates paths in the air, suggesting that the game will have an emphasis on movement. The trailer shows the return of the Issen mechanic, which rewards precise counterattacks. A new weapon, the dual hammers, also makes its debut.
