Electronic Arts has confirmed that the full announcement of Battlefield 6 will take place in the summer of 2025, despite numerous leaks about the postponement of this event due to the company's absence from SGF 2025. This is reported by the official statement from EA.
The game, developed by DICE, Criterion, Ripple Effect and Motive, will be unveiled before the end of the summer, with a release planned no later than March 2026. Leaks have already revealed key features: the return of the class system (Assault, Engineer, Support, Recon), a modern setting, improved destructibility of the environment and new mechanics. EA is also testing through the Battlefield Labs program, which has caused a stir among fans, although participants sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Despite problems with registration for tests, EA promises to publish public reports on the results, and players who signed an NDA continue to leak gameplay of the upcoming new product.
