The Nioh series has surpassed 8 million copies sold worldwide, according to an announcement by Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja.
More than two years after the series reached the 7 million unit sales milestone, this news is made public. These figures include the initial releases of the game on PlayStation 4, the PC editions, and the PlayStation 5 releases.
Both Nioh and Nioh 2 made its PlayStation 4 debuts in February 2017 and March 2020, respectively. They are currently accessible on the PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 platforms.
