Rematch

Sloclap Studio, known for Sifu, has announced new testing stages for the long-awaited game Rematch. The first tests took place in April and attracted over 1.3 million players . They were practically open, and an application had to be submitted to access the game. Now they have announced that there will be 2 more testing stages:

  • May 9. A closed beta will be held for "select players" on Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5 consoles, as well as players from the Microsoft Store on PC. The test will test the stability of the console servers and the functionality of the PC Game Pass version, and will be available to some players who participated in the first beta.
  • May 28-30. Fully open testing for all platforms: Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 5 and PC. The developers expect to test the stability of the network infrastructure before the large-scale launch of the game.

Cross-platform multiplayer will not be available in the tests. According to the developers, they are currently working on this feature, but they cannot yet say whether it will be implemented by the release.

Rematch will be released on June 19 on Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 5, and PC. The game will be part of Game Pass upon release.
