The latest update for Assassin's Creed: Shadows turned out to be more extensive than the official changelog indicated. Ubisoft quietly improved one of the key systems - the parkour mechanics. And this happened before the release of the planned patch.
The blogger Ropotopolous was the first to notice the hidden changes. In a short video, he showed updated animations, improved character movement, and more precise jumps. The video collected a modest number of views, but the developers noticed the video and responded to it in the comments
Ubisoft explained that the parkour team didn't want to wait until the end of May. According to them, some of the improvements were needed earlier - they formed the basis of the upcoming update. It promises to introduce more precise side and back jumps, as well as make movement on roofs and ledges more responsive.
