Nixxes and Naughty Dog have released patch 1.1 for the PC version of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, addressing stability issues and improving gameplay.
The update eliminates various crashes and long freezes that could occur in some locations, especially in the Downtown Seattle area. The developers also fixed several bugs related to the interface and support for ultra-wide cinematic scenes.
The autosave issues are known and are being actively worked on. Investigation has shown that issues can occur when OneDrive or similar cloud services block the save file from being written. As a temporary solution, the developers recommend pausing OneDrive syncing while playing.
Other fixes include:
- Fix for displaying friends' best scores on No Return Daily Challenge leaderboard
- Fixing audio and video desync while watching the Grounded II documentary
- Improved performance of sliders in the display settings menu
