CD Projekt RED has confirmed to Digital Foundry that Cyberpunk 2077 will indeed use this tool on Nintendo's console.
The Switch 2 is compatible with Nvidia's DLSS technology. This feature allows for upscaling, allowing you to enjoy higher definition while maintaining a good frame rate.
"We're using a version of DLSS available for the Nintendo Switch 2, powered by Nvidia's Tensor Cores. The game uses DLSS across all four modes (handheld and docked) and applies performance and quality variations across each."
When docked, the Switch 2 will run at 30 FPS in Quality mode and 40 FPS (on 120Hz displays) in Performance mode. On handheld, the game will run at 1080p at 30 FPS in Quality mode and 720p at 40 FPS in Performance mode.
