The first scores are in for Split Fiction, the new game by Josef Fares, due for release on March 6. And it just so happens that the press has fallen under the spell of this production.
The title currently boasts a Metacritic average of 91% on PS5 (82 reviews), 92% on PC (23 reviews) and 92% on Xbox Series (11 reviews). On OpenCritic, it has a score of 90% for a total of 73 reviews.
Split Fiction is applauded for its varied gameplay, successful art direction, well-paced gameplay and interesting side activities. As for shortcomings, we'll simply note that the plot is a little too by the book, the characters are not very memorable, and the soundtrack is a little meh.
