Funcom and Level Infinite have shared a trailer for the survival MMO Dune: Awakening to show off the "Beauty of Arrakis." It's prefaced by a quote from Chani in Dune: Part One: "Arrakis is especially beautiful at sunset . "
The developers showed an open world in which everything is trying to kill the player, whether he moves on foot or on an ornithopter: the starting location of the Hagga Basin, the Vermillion Pass, the O'odham, the first settlement and the largest city on the planet Arrakeen, the Hagga Gorge and the Barrier Wall.
Dune: Awakening will be released on PC (Steam) early this year, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
