Many shooter fans are definitely looking forward to the release of DOOM: The Dark Ages , but apparently we have some bad news for some of them. The developers (or publisher) have decided to resort to protecting the project from pirates using DENUVO, the same protection that is known for performance issues with many games.
Compared to the recent Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, this decision can be considered an unpleasant surprise. As a result, the new DOOM is not only more expensive than any previous Bethesda game, but on top of that it will also have DENUVO, which can affect performance. There is a slight possibility that the mandatory requirement for 8-core processors for DOOM: The Dark Ages is related to DENUVO.
