Final Fantasy XIV

Now that we're halfway through the current patch cycle, the Final Fantasy XIV team has released patch 7.15, the follow-up to the Crossroads update that already brought players the new Alliance Raid and Ultimate. This update brings a lot more new content than a regular update, and also sets the stage for next week's chaotic Alliance Raid.

The biggest highlight of this update for many players will undoubtedly be the continuation of Hildibrand's storyline, this time titled Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures.

Crafters and gatherers who have completed all of the Wachumekimeki delivery quests will now be able to complete the series' final quests. They can also begin making individual deliveries to the lovely Nitovikwa, one of the train's engineers in Shaaloan.

The patch also technically includes a new Alliance "Chaotic" raid with Cloud of Darkness, which allows 24 players to take on a high-level boss. However, it won't be available until Christmas Eve.

As always, the game has a ton of small balance updates for PvP fans, as well as the usual bug fixes and even a few new furniture items.
