Cyberpunk 2077

The Cyberpunk 2077 community is gearing up for a new update, just over a year after Update 2.1 was released, which added new features, activities, and vehicles to the game. Update 2.2 will be presented in detail in a livestream on CD Projekt’s Twitch and YouTube channels on Tuesday, December 10 at 17:00 CET.

In an announcement on Twitter, CD Projekt’s global community director Marcin Momot confirmed that update 2.2 will not include PS5 Pro support or a New Game+ mode . “A lot of questions about whether PS5 Pro and NG+ support are coming with Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.2. The answer is no,” Momot said. “We have some other exciting things in the works and will be talking about them tomorrow during the livestream – we hope you like it too. We appreciate your patience.”

Update 2.2 follows Update 2.1, which was released in December 2023 and added a fully functional subway system, a radioport to listen to the game's radio stations on the move, dating activities with romantic partners, new vehicles, and activities. All of this when they announced in May of this year that they were ceasing support for the game .

Update 2.0, released in September 2023, was the largest one yet, changing several of the game's core mechanics, including the police system and skill trees, along with a number of fixes and improvements.
