Forza Horizon 4

Microsoft, Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games have announced the end of sales of the open-world arcade racing game Forza Horizon 4 . From December 15, 2024, it will no longer be possible to buy the title. The decision was dictated by expiring licenses.

This applies to the Steam, Microsoft Store, and Game Pass platforms. At the same time, add-ons for Forza Horizon 4 were removed from sale on June 25. From now until December 15th, users can only purchase the Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate editions.

Players who have already purchased Forza Horizon 4 and its DLC can continue to download and download existing content - even after December 15th. This also applies to physical versions of the race. They won’t turn off online either.

If you played Forza Horizon 4 through Xbox Game Pass and purchased expansion packs for the game, you will still have access to them if you still have an active subscription as of June 25th. To maintain access to the DLC, players will be sent a special game token.

Unused tokens will expire on June 25, 2026. The developers emphasized that tokens will be distributed gradually.

Forza Horizon 4 was released in 2018 on PC and Xbox One. In 2020, racing was updated for Xbox Series X|S.
